Who Should Participate?

This programme is for anyone who has intermediate-level English skills and can speak English with conversational fluency, but wants to be able to give professional presentations, conduct meetings and correspond in the most effective English; those who want to improve their communication skills, and use body language more efficiently; those who  want to get rid of the common "Turkish" mistakes in their business English and speak like a World Citizen should participate in this programme.

About the Instructor

Julie Pratten is an experienced trainer and writer in the area of English training consultancy. She has training and publishing experience in over twenty-five countries worldwide, including Brazil, Turkey, and the countries of Central Europe. As editor and consultant for the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey for the past five years, Julie Pratten has given executive-level training programmes, prepared in cooperation with Dragoman Akademi. These programmes, designed for the Turkish business world, include: "World Citizen", "The Language of Meetings", "Banking English" and "Effective Communication and Presentation Skills in English."

"Business Vocabulary Builder" (Dragoman Akademi Yayınları, 2007), the first book Julie published in Turkey, includes exercises, examples, and references inspired by her experiences in the Turkish business world and the world of global business. Among her other publications are Banking English (Delta Yayınları, 1995), Business Activities A-Z., and "Business Thriller Series", a best-selling series in Western Europe and Latin America.
